Five Senses Theme Page
What is included?
1. Three emergent readers related to this theme. These are great to use for expanding on the concept of understanding the five senses, as well, for introducing early reading skills. The children are involved in using their five senses in completing the little readers.
2. Connection to Literature - included are two emergent readers as a follow-up activity to reading the well- known books "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" and "Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?" The pictures would be used for the predictable chart and the readers for a take-home-activity.
3. There are center suggestions for each of the senses.
4. Craft suggestions and templates for each of the senses.
5. Related math activities are also included.
6. You will find pictures for the children to sort.

1. Ideas for fire safety, 911 emergency safety and bike safety.
