Knead the dough
You might need to double or even triple this recipe if you work with a larger group of children.
give each child in the craft center a small amount of dough
roll out on aluminum foil, this can be placed on a cookie sheet and then baked
the children can roll out their own dough
cut out a round circle using the top of a glass if you are making the face
If you are making the dad face magnet the children can add the lips and the nose by rolling out the red dough.
If you are making the dad face magnet the hair and eyebrows were rolled and then painted.
Wiggly eyes were used for the dad face magnet
this can air dry for 4 - 5 days or for faster results place the finished product in the oven at 200 F for about an hour (ensure you turn half way through to allow drying on both sides).
place a magnet on the back (this is optional, this will require a stronger magnet).
