I Love You This Much - Picture Frame
1.  Children color the picture frame (decorations such as sequins could also be added)
2.  The shirt is also colored
3.  Construction paper is cut to extend the arms
3.  hands are traced, cut and glued to the arms
4.  Photograph is added

Mother's Day Silouette and Poem
This has been a favorite of mine and there are a number of ways you can make a child's headshot silouette.  I use the old-fashioned overhead projector and large construction paper and trace the outline using white chalk.  There are other ways to get a similar result as outlined int he link below:

I would glue the headshot onto cardstock paper.   On the back, the poem could be cut and glued on.

 Recipe and Instructions for the No-Cook Play Clay Mother's Day Magnet Project

1 cup of all purpose flour

1/2 cup of salt

1/2 cup of warm tap water

Mix flour and salt and pour in warm tap water.  Stir well.

Knead the dough

You might need to double or even triple this recipe if you work with a larger group of children.

Craft Sticks Picture Frame
Irene just sent me pictures of a Mother's Day project her students completed.  I selected one of the pictures to share with you.  This is a very simple craft but a cherished memory for mom.  The students drew a picture, assembled the picture frame made out of  craft sticks and completed the project by decorating the frame.
